This week marks many milestones for EggFund and for me and my family.
I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since I changed my life by starting EggFund.
I can’t believe that I turn 50 years young this week.
I can’t believe that I have a 3 3/4 year old daughter, who is thriving and happy.
Believe, believe; it is all possible. It is within all of us.
I am grateful; I know how lucky I am. Even after COVID came for our family three years in a row. The first time my husband, Geoff, ended up in hospital and nearly died from a massive infection caused from the stress of managing a team erecting a 1,000 bed COVID hospital in less than four weeks. Just last month, my second bought with COVID left me with viral pneumonia - worried I would die. However, we always had a light: Elisabeth. She was thankfully okay in a few short days, twice. Geoff and I would go through our health struggles all over again, the same way, if it meant Elisabeth healed as fast as she did.
Everything I have ever done of significance seemed to be done best when I listened to my heart, my intuition. Even when it told me to walk away or surrender to the situation. In fact, giving up resisting my battle with infertility led me to start EggFund to help others, and then to having my daughter, Elisabeth. Sometimes the best thing one can do is sit still. Let the waves of uncertainty, anxiety, pain, pass over you.
It might sound a bit woo-woo, but after my pneumonia, I started journaling every day. It’s been amazing: I am getting to know myself and ask myself questions that I try to stay open to the answers for.
As a recovering over-achiever, the following kept popping up for me and I hope that it may resonate with some of you:
The answer is within, for when you look inside it is so beautiful, loving, accepting; connected with all living things, content; healed; grounded; receptive; intelligent; full of foresight and knowledge gained from many lifetimes before yours. Just right there waiting for you. Turn on, by Tuning Inward. You will swiftly, easily see magic transformation happen for you, your family, your friends, your community, your nation; your planet; your universe; all creation.
That is how powerful you are. You will affect all the above for the positive, for the better. You will help all of creation; we will ascend together—with your help. You are crucial, all-important; you are the CREATOR of your new, better, happier reality. It is within you; it is within all of us.
